Carina Sola, DVM

Originally from Switzerland, Dr. Carina Sola grew up in a family of elite-level eventers. Seeing the teamwork required to compete successfully within the sport along with a love of horses sparked the desire to become an equine veterinarian. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and went on to complete veterinary school at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. She did her clinical year at the University of Florida.
After completing an internship at Palm Beach Equine Clinic in 2024, she studied
traditional Equine Acupuncture at the Chi Institute and worked in Holland with Dr. Marc Oertly, the former team vet for the Swiss Jumping team and Stal Tops, before returning to PBEC. Dr. Sola’s main focus at the clinic is emergency medicine; however, she is also very interested in sports medicine.
In her free time, Dr. Sola likes to ride her own horse, waterski, and is hoping to learn
how to golf in the near future.
