Selina Passante, DVM

Dr. Selina Passante is originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, SK, in June of 2012. Upon graduation, Dr. Passante moved west to Calgary, Alberta, to complete an internship in equine medicine and surgery at Moore Equine Veterinary Centre. After her internship she joined Palm Beach Equine in 2013 and has worked under the mentorship of Dr. Jorge Gomez for many years.
Dr. Passante is certified in equine acupuncture and veterinary chiropractic from the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. During the summer and fall months Dr. Passante works with TD Equine Clinic in the south of Calgary Alberta, Canada. During this time, she works as a vet with Spruce Meadows and a local ambulatory vet in the Calgary area.
Dr. Passante has a variety of veterinary interests including ophthalmology, diagnostic imaging, lameness, emergency medicine and general equine medicine. When not at the clinic, she spends time with her dog and her horses playing polo and show jumping as well as a few non-equine activities such as running, hiking, and scuba diving.
